Never Heard This Before

Monday night I saw a little guy who called a raise pre-flop and then called a pot sized bet on the flop of 5 Q J
On the turn was another 5 and he called again and then on the river a 10 came and again he called.
The aggressive bettor said 2 pair and the little gsaid 1 and a half pair and showed a 5 K ...
"TRIPS" = "1 1/2 pair" I had never heard that before.

I will not live long enough to see that happen again.

Open Comments To Aria Poker Room manager
I voice some issues on the new room on my blog ...located at http://Mark-Hanna.com/blog.htm
Downsides
... No list phone-ins for locals.. I was told that hotel guests could call from their room... Locals build and start the games.. LOCALS LIKE LIKE CALLING IN TO GET N THE LIST !!!
... No seat change buttons
... No cup holders $8.5 billion and forgot cup holders
... Tables are too tightly packed together just like Bellagio
... It is L O U D - even dealers complain that they can't hearr
... Comp dollars from MGM are not able to be used here ..
... Venecian gives $1.50 per hr comps on 2/5 game Aria $1.00
... No wide variety of food delivery to poker room
... MGM rake takes 4th dollar on $150 ... Aria takes 4th dollar at $80
Upsides
... Very comfortable chairs
... Open to the casino to encourage tourists to walk in
... Restrooms are very, very close to the room
.. I like the Marble bar area to put drinks located between service desk and restrooms ..
... I did see some major "Tourist Tuna" playing in the room
After the newness of this room wears off I predict this room will get simular action as the MGM's room ...

Aria Casino Opens

Well the new Aria casino in the 19 Billion city center project opened tonight at midnight.
My friend Jeff and I left the Venetian poker room at 11:45 PM after we both had booked wins and decided to check out the new poker room. It reminds me of the layout of the MGM poker room. It is open to the casino floor and it is LOUD.
The place is standing room only and almost everyone I know is checking the place out.
Tableside food service is non-existent and one of the TVs is set to the religious channel and a guy who preaching from the bible.
The waitresses are good.
